Our client is seeking a health & safety advisor to implement and communicate improvement strategies in response to changes impacting HSE activities.

As a health and safety advisor you will be highly valued and a respected member of the team and should except to have constant support from all higher management.

**What the roles includes**
- Coordinating and implementing WHS strategies that deliver the highest quality outcomes and suitably trained staff.
- Conduct and coordinate regular safety inspections and audits as required.
- Provide advice to all site personnel and employees, ensuring each Safety process (e.g. Hazard ID) is executed effectively and diligently.
- Ensure the safe running of the site by carrying out toolbox talks, site inductions updating and management of SWMS.
- Update and manage the company’s safety management system.

**To be successful in this type of role**
- Diploma or Certificate IV in WSHQE, or Construction Management - or higher
- First Aid & CPR training Certificate
- Must have 3+ years’ experience working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Civil Contractors
- Must be an excellent communicator and able to build rapport with all key stakeholders.
- Be able to carry out meetings and presentations with both your team and the client
- Excellent administration and computer systems
- Demonstrate a real passion for safety.
