Warehouse/tradeassistant

We are a Public Art, Rigging & Display Company looking to hire an enthusiastic, hardworking Warehouse/Trade Assistant who takes instruction well, is good with their hands and has high attention to detail. Shifts from late September 2023 to end January 2024, including nights and weekend work.

Your duties will include but not limited to: Receiving and dispatching goods, loading and unloading trucks, manual handling, pallet wrapping and general warehouse duties.

Successful applicants will have the following desirable skills:

- Effective communication skills - must be able to speak, read and write English
- Capable of manual labour
- Punctual (show up on time) and professional
- An understanding of and adherence to WH&S principles always
- Willingness to work nights and weekends
- Always maintaining a clean and orderly workspace
- Forklift License (Or willingness to obtain)

Applicants with the following skills will be highly regarded:

- Driver’s license and own transportation
- EWP License (Under or Over 11m)
- WH&S Induction White Card
- Prior forklift operating experience working in warehouse environment

**Job Type**: Fixed term
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $27.50 - $37.50 per hour
