Southern Cross Care (Qld) Inc is a rapidly growing and developing, highly respected not-for-profit organisation, which provides Residential Aged Care, Community Care and Retirement Living services across Queensland.

We now have an opportunity for An Aged Care Worker to join our team at
**Caloundra** as a
**Laundry/Domestic** worker. This is a
**Casual** position available with a variety of shifts across a 14 day roster.

You will be required to carry out general cleaning duties to a schedule, maintaining the highest level of hygiene. The successful applicant must be capable of working autonomously when caring out tasks.

**Some key responsibilities of the role include**:

- General daily cleaning duties in line with schedule and regulations
- Communication and coordination with other staff regarding cleaning requirements
- Stock control and ordering, and associated record keeping
- As an Aged Care Worker you may be able to assist when necessary in other areas of the home following appropriate training provided
- Good Communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
- Demonstrated problem solving and a “can do” attitude
- A current Police Check
- Up to date COVID 19 and flu vaccinations

Previous experience working in a commercial cleaning role and/or the Aged Care industry is highly desirable.
