**About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to support the planning, development and negotiation of procurement activities for clinical and non-clinical equipment (inc capital projects) across Metro North Hospital and Health Service in a client focussed and transparent manner.

About you

Support the Principal Procurement and Contracts Officer to provide a point of accountability and manage all aspects of the Equipment Category of procurement, management and reporting within MNH
Protection of MNH reputation by ensuring highest standard possible is achieved in procurement activities including probity, accountability and transparency principles
Ensure communication and consultation with key department personnel and external stakeholders to ensure all procurement processes are compliant and inclusive
Participate in the effective negotiation and placing of contractual arrangements
