Forklift Driver

**JOB SUMMARY**

You are responsible for managing and improving the efficiency of our inwards goods warehousing and receival.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Optimise day-to-day warehousing operations.
- Ensure all goods are received in an efficient and safe manner.
- Ensure production and packing have all the packaging and raw materials required for the days scheduled operations.
- Ensure all deliveries match suppliers delivery docket and are entered in to the inventory system.
- Monitor all deliveries due and advise if suppliers have not delivered
- Unloading and loading of trucks
- Conduct Regular Cycle counts on inventory.
- Ensure warehouse and yard area is kept clean
- Book Chep pallets and pallecons delivery and Pick up
- Ensure all goods are stored in accordance with company Food Safety Program
- Ensure all operation processes take place in accord with the company’s Food Safety and Quality Assurance Program (FSQP) and OH&S legislation
- Maintain accurate and timely recordkeeping and paperwork

**OTHER FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment
- Work closely with QA to maintain and improve our FSQP
- Ensure all pallets are labelled correctly.
- Work closely with production and packing room Team Leaders and personnel, providing assistance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our operations
- Cover Dispatch store person in their absence
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Assist with other warehouse functions as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $31.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
