**Job Summary**:
The Yardsman is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the company's yard facilities. This role involves a variety of tasks, including equipment maintenance, yard upkeep, and assisting with equipment loading and unloading.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Equipment Maintenance**:

- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, greasing, and inspecting for damage.
- Assist with minor repairs and adjustments.
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and ready for rental.

**Yard Upkeep**:

- Maintain a clean and organized yard environment.
- Remove debris and waste materials.
- Ensure that all equipment is stored properly and securely.

**Equipment Handling**:

- Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment from trucks and trailers.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations when handling equipment.

**Inventory Management**:

- Assist with inventory control by tracking equipment in and out of the yard.
- Report any equipment shortages or discrepancies.

**Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate safety equipment.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a yard or warehouse environment.
- Forklift operator certification preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Physical fitness to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must have a valid driver's license.

Pay: $46,460.00 - $100,412.77 per year
