To perform a range of activities including examination, servicing, maintenance and repair on suburban train fleet vehicles to ensure as far as practicable the safe, reliable and on time running of the train fleet.

This role is offered on a
**Full time permanent** basis operating out of MTMs Epping Depot, paid by the EA-Rolling Stock

**Key Responsibilities**
- Undertake safety procedures
- Perform Examination tasks
- Check and repair Electrical circuits
- Fault finding using train electrical drawings and accepted fault finding practices
- Perform train modifications as required
- Change major Fleet Components
- Attend to derailments, collisions, pantograph entanglements, fatalities and other mishaps involving trains

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Trade qualified as an Electrical Fitter or Electrical Mechanic
- Current Victorian Driver’s License
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Previous experience within a maintenance environment is expected
- Demonstrated expertise within either a rail/manufacturing environment
- Day/afternoon/night shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Relieve at other Fleet Maintenance sites
