Diploma Early Childhood Educator

**KidsHQ**is Perth owned and operated with an exciting opportunity to recruit a Room Leader to join our team.

**About us**: KidsHQ first opened in 2014 and is celebrating 11 years of business this year. We are a small group of three services located in High Wycombe and Kalamunda. The approved provider is a local member of the community, a teacher herself with 20+ years early childhood experience. With services very close in proximity, we work very closely together to provide a service that is personal and community focused.

We have two openings to join our team.

**Role 1**: We seek a Child Care Worker (Educator) who holds an approved Certificate III

**Duties**
- Daily Care Routines for Children
- Implementing programs
- Compliance
- Health and Safety
- Support the room leader in daily operations
- Ensuring a safe environment is maintained for staff and children, with particular attention to children with anaphylaxis, allergies, asthma etc.
- Ensuring that accurate records are kept regarding accident, incident, injury, illness and medication.
- Ensuring staff are aware of current thinking and practice in early childhood education, and service delivery.
- Liaising with families about the day-to-day happenings of their children
- Promoting and maintaining positive working relationships with other staff.
- Observing and recording of individual children’s progress
- **Requirements**:_
- Certifiate III Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA recognised equivalent
- Working with Children Check
- HLTAID004 / D012 First Aid
- Child Protection / Safe Sleep Training

**Role 2**: We seek a Diploma educator [Room Leader] who has previous experience running a classroom.

**Duties**
- Plan and implement curriculum for children
- Observe and recording of individual children’s progress
- Liaising with families about the day-to-day happenings of their children
- Maintain positive working relationships with other staff and lead by example
- Design and lead classroom routine and structure
- Maintain daily care routines for children
