**ARE YOU THE KITCHEN HAND / FOOD PREPARATION WORKER WE ARE LOOKING FOR?**

**THE ROLE REPORTS** to the Production Manager, to work Mondays to Fridays & some weekends, approximately 6 am to 2 pm and 3 pm to 11 pm.

**QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE**
- HACCP and stock rotation knowledge
- Chef or Cook experience in the fresh food production industry is ideal for this role

**KEY DUTIES**

**Cooking of Pasta and Grains**
- Cooking on a large scale, following current cook procedures a variety of pastas, grains, and rice using varied cooking methods
- Filling out cooking records
- Must be able to work independently and achieve set daily cooking targets

**Take-Off/Cooling Mixing**
- Main tasks include removing cooked food items from varied cooking equipment
- Taking temperatures of cooked food to ensure correct temperature is achieved
- Cooling of all cooked food in a controlled way
- Filling out cooling records to ensure all products are cooled in the correct amount of time
- Stock rotation of all cooked items
- Daily cleaning of all food equipment to ensure safe food practices
