Sheq Manager

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

- Leading and coaching the SHEQ workforce whilst defining and managing KPI’s
- Planning the SHEQ workforce schedules in accordance with client needs
- Developing, establishing and managing SHEQ budgets and acquiring approval in line with relevant strategy, policies and procedures
- Participating in SHEQ projects to implement new or improved systems, procedures and processes
- Coordinating and overseeing investigations
- Providing SHEQ reports with correct and useful SHEQ critical business indicators whilst gathering statistics to monitor trends
- Maintaining and upholding industry-leading SHEQ standards in our facilities and work locations whilst pioneering Mammoet’s own life-saving rules
- Conducting and overseeing safety inspections and training

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

- Proven experience as a SHEQ manager preferably within the Mining, Construction, Transport or Heavy Lifting industry
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously whilst demonstrating leadership and initiative
- Willingness to travel frequently in line with business requirements
- Minimum Cert IV in Workplace Health & Safety
- Current Valid Australian Driver’s License
- Leadership/Management/Supervisor course - Desirable
