Yardperson

**About the Role**

We are currently seeking immediately available, proactive Yardperson with a Forklift Licence to be an integral member of the team for a company that manufacture and repair of heavy plant machinery parts and hydraulic tools. **Duties will in include but are not limited to**:

- Working alongside Hydraulic Fitters and Boilermakers
- Feeding tradespeople with hydraulic fittings, cylinders, hoses steel parts, etc
- Forklift Operation - unloading / loading trucks & containers, moving palleted and oversized parts around the yard
- Pick pack of parts, labelling / engraving, dispatch
- Use of overhead gantry cranes, grinders, Oxy cutters, hand, and power tools
- General house keeping

This is not a standalone forklift role and involves manual duties working to a fast paced completing long hours 5.5days per week.

Role is offering** long term opportunities **with temp to perm after 6 months.

**On Offer**

The role offers **full time day shift hours for a 6-month temp to perm role **based around Molendinar, with daily **overtime and Saturday’s**.
- Monday to Thursday - 5am to 4.30pm
- Friday 5am to 2.30pm
- Saturday - 5.00am to 11am

Pay Rates (Casual first 6 months)
- Normal Time - $30.60phr
- Overtime - $45.90phr

**About You**

You must possess the following:

- High Risk LF Forklift Licence
- Relevant Yardperson experience in a similar work environment
- Able to perform manual tasks, operating power tools
- Positive attitude to ensure working effectively in supporting a high achieving team
- Able to work all hours 5.5days per week
