- **Salary** - **Total Indicative Remuneration - Classification - MDP2 - Medical Practitioner - $105,751 to $171,579 p.a (includes award salary, superannuation and any other monetary benefits)**:

- **Full time - Term Contract**
- The total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12 months allocation to Advanced Training Paediatric Neurology & Clinical Neurophysiology will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.

**About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an **Advanced Trainee Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology**where you will be responsible for:

- The provision of clinical Neurology and Diagnostic Neurophysiology services to in-patients and out-patients of the WCHN, under appropriate supervision.
- Contribute to Professional Development and Clinical Practice initiatives within the Department of Neurology and Diagnostic Neurophysiology and WCHN
- Contribute to Research activities within the within the Department of Neurology and Diagnostic Neurophysiology and WCHN
- Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate medical and allied professions education within the Department of Neurology and Diagnostic Neurophysiology and WCHN.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) or equivalent,
- Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner
- Completion of RACP Basic Training Requirements [Eligible for Advanced Training toward FRACP].
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary clinical, scientific and paraclinical colleagues.
- Competency in Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology and General Paediatric Medicine commensurate with level of training.
- Ability to meet specified turnaround times for consults and reports.
- High level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
