Competency Training and Site Skills Training (RTO#31299) are two industry leading Training brands owned by Verbrec with training facilities in Brisbane (North and West), Central Queensland, Perth, and Darwin. We also deliver and manage on-site training for some of the largest companies and projects throughout the world. We specialize in training and assessment for the Construction, Mining & Resources, Oil & Gas, Engineering and Logistics sectors.
**About the role**
This role will join the Competency Training team reporting directly to the Delivery Manager. You will be responsible for delivering and developing quality training to customers in accordance with all relevant company policies and the standards for Registered Training Organisations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Training and Assessment - Delivering nationally recognised qualifications
- Contribute to development of programs and resource materials
- Participate in moderation and validation
- Provide ongoing support to leaners
Due to an increase in demand for high quality training, we are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Trainers/Assessors who are capable of delivering any of the following:
- High Voltage Switching Operations (HVSO)
- Electrical Equipment for Hazardous Areas (EEHA)
Key Responsibilities:
- Training and Assessment - Delivering nationally recognised qualifications;
- Contribute to development of programs and resource materials;
- Participate in moderation and validation;
- Provide ongoing support to leaners.
**About you**
**Mandatory Requirements for HVSO**
Must Hold:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- A Electrical licence
- Prior experience in HV industry being mining, Oil & Gas, Network Operators or industrial High Voltage systems.
Desirable:
- Electrical Equipment for Hazardous Areas
Mandatory Requirements for EEHA
Must Hold:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- A Electrical licence
- Prior experience in Hazardous Area environments in the Oil & Gas industry, petrochemical plants, combustible dust industries or refineries
Desirable:
- HVSO
- Latest EEHA Units of Competency
