Toowoomba, Australia Premium Aged & Community Services Full time

Home & Garden Maintenance staff will work closely with the office administration staff as part of a team to deliver appropriate and timely services to our clients. All duties below are to be delivered with Consumer Directed Care principles / Person Centered Practices at the core of service delivery.

**Duties**:

- Complete the service at the scheduled time, providing support and care as detailed
- Advise the Care Co-ordinator at the time of service if requirements other than those scheduled appear necessary
- General maintenance duties as specified for each service
- Establish routines, methods and procedures to complete set tasks within given timeframes
- Responsible for providing quality services to all clients
- Completing all required paperwork for each service completed

The following tasks will be completed as required for each service:

- Replacing light bulbs and tap washers
- Installing batteries in smoke/security alarms
- Gutter, window or fan cleaning
- Minor home maintenance (e.g. cupboard door adjustment)
- Pruning, grass cutting or weeding only where a safety hazard exists
- Clearing of debris following natural disasters
- Collection and/or cutting of firewood in rural and remote areas
- Other tasks agreed between you and your service provider

**To be considered you MUST have the following**
- Experience within the Aged Care setting
- Certificates in First Aid and Manual Handling
- Hold a Current National Police Certificate and WWCC and Blue card (QLD)
- Hold a Current Australian Drivers Licence and a reliable CTP Insured motor vehicle
- Hold a First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Digital Certificate for all Mandated COVID 19 vaccines
