Your new company is a global leading sports retail company spanning many countries across APAC. Based in Clayton, they are expanding their team and are looking for an Infrastructure and Applications Specialist to join their exciting global team in a newly created role.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the head of IT, in this exciting newly created role, you will be the single point of contact for the region for all technology needs for the business in the Melbourne Office, on top if this, you will be liaising with global IT leaders and strategically working with business units.
You will be:
- Managing the delivery of small to medium size projects being executed within the region
- Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting workplace technologies in the office and field including desktop computers, laptops, cloud productivity software (Office 365), mobile and desk phones and printers
- Assess service issues and escalations as needed to the global HQ or global business process owners and tracking incidents to resolution
- Accounting for hardware inventory and software use in the region
- Engaging regional business process owners to maintain working knowledge of regional business processes and identify any pain points within the processes
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about all things IT while being a team player and willing to help out the team as required. A positive attitude driven to succeed, proactive to thinking and willing to learn and adapt to things as they come up.
You will also need to have:
- Experience managing a networking environment including wireless and wired network connectivity, telephone and audio-video conference systems
- Microsoft Active Directory and other infrastructure monitoring and management software including ERP systems
- Microsoft office 365
- SCCM / In Tune / Apple Business manager
- ITITL, CompTIA, Microsoft, Apple, Cisco or similar certifications are a plus
- Experience working with global teams
- Professional certification or Computer Science or similar degree
