As part of the Queensland Environmental Consulting team, this role’s focus is to provide input to a range of environmental related projects and associated statutory approvals. This will include large infrastructure projects and smaller projects in a diverse range of sectors including energy, local and state government and water. Experience in transport projects is preferred.
**The Opportunity**
- Contribute to a diverse range of environmental projects within the Queensland Environment and Biodiversity team, as well as multi-disciplinary initiatives across the office and region.
- Provide expert environmental insights for bids and tenders, helping to secure new opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports for clients, summarizing environmental outcomes and offering strategic advice for optimal results.
- Collaborate with various office discipline groups on project-related matters to ensure cohesive and integrated solutions.

**Is this role right for you?**
- 4-6 years of industry experience in consulting, private sector, or government roles.
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in Environmental Management, Science, Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in environmental planning, impact assessment, and statutory approval processes.
- Strong research and analytical skills to support project outcomes.
- Exceptional report writing skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
- Active membership in relevant professional institutions or significant progress towards eligibility for membership.
