Your role at St John of God Health Care
In this role, you will evaluate and coordinate property management, including sales and leasing, across all SJGHC-owned property with the objective of optimising revenue; improving accounting processes; and maintaining strategic divisional land holdings.
The Position- Oversee management of SJGHC Hospital Divisions property Leases, including lease management and documentation.- Oversee the financial management Agreement/Authority for Group Hospital Divisions tenanted property portfolio (outsourced to commercial property manager), including undertaking appropriate market rent reviews for Tenants.- Evaluate and introduce process improvements to internal financial management and invoicing/accounting for all SJGHC Hospital Divisions Lease arrangements with Tenants.- Provide regular reporting on SJGHC property portfolio as required by General Manager Corporate Finance and Property.- Liaise with Hospital Divisions Chief Executive Officers on arrangements relating to prospective sales and leases of Divisional controlled SJGHC owned property and future saleable/leasable developments, including property valuations, review of leases and ensuring protection of SJGHC interests/controls.- Undertake strategic and operational projects as required by General Manager Corporate Finance and Property 2.4 Policies and Standards- Assist in the establishment and standardisation of Group policies, procedures and reporting relating to all aspects of SJGHC owned and leased Hospital Divisions property management, including financial management systems.- Evaluate implementation of standards across all Hospital Divisions on an annual basis.- Liaise with Group Legal and ensure Group compliance with standard SJGHC lease documentation.
You will have an understanding of the business of Australian Private Healthcare, complimented by relevant management experience in a healthcare or property setting.
To succeed you will possess relevant tertiary qualifications and have the demonstrated ability to produce high quality written material including reports, briefing notes, correspondence and other documents. Proven property and contracts management skills and experience will be essential to this role.
