Barista

Seeking two experienced Barista's

1 X Barista needed for Monday to Friday 6am till 3pm (2 months role)

1X Barista needed for Saturday and Sunday 7am till 4pm ongoing/rotation every fortnight.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled barista to join our dynamic team at Levant. If you have a love for all things coffee and enjoy providing exceptional customer service, this is the perfect opportunity for you

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and specialty drinks.
- Ensure consistent quality in every cup by following established recipes and techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the espresso machine, grinder, and brewing equipment.
- Take customer orders and provide friendly, efficient service while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Offer coffee knowledge and recommendations to customers based on their preferences.
- Handle cash and process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Keep track of inventory, restock supplies, and notify management when items are running low.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- stay updated on new coffee brewing techniques and menu items.
- Uphold health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a barista in a high-volume coffee shop or similar environment in Australia.
- Excellent knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art.
- Ability to operate commercial espresso machines and other coffee equipment.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional quality in every cup.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
