**What being an OSHC Educator Entails**

OSHC educators care for children before school, after school and during school holiday periods. Highlights include running fascinating, fun-filled and educational activities with primary school children - such as science experiments, outdoor games and painting.

**Your workspace at the Y**:
**YMCA Gabbinbar Outside School Hours Care **is based at Gabbinbar State School and welcomes all families of the Gabbinbar community.

YMCA Gabbinbar OSHC operates from 6.30am to 9.00am and 3.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday during school terms and Vacation Care operate from 6.30am to 6.00pm during all school holidays.

YMCA Gabbinbar OSHC offers a wide range of fun, stimulating and appropriate programs that reflect real world experiences and home settings. **To be successful you must have**:

- A Certificate or Diploma qualification in Children Services or equivalent or if you are studying towards a relevant qualification
- A Fantastic sense of fun & a tremendous imagination
- Hold or are willing to obtain a current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Blue Card or willing to obtain one
