**The Gig**

Ovolo Hotels is on the hunt for their next **Assistant Bar Manager** to come join our F.U.N team Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and effortless experiences to our guests. You will work closely with senior F&B management to represent Ovolo's succession in Food & Beverage, driving revenue and increasing customer satisfaction. This is a **Full-Time** gig operating over a 7-day roster. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Assist the Venue Manager by leading a busy bar team
- Attend to daily administration tasks including ordering & invoices as well as completing daily reports
- Have a high standard of operations, procedures and service
- Devise comprehensive and user-friendly standards and procedures for beverage operations and communicate effectively across the team
- Ensure that the bar and surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy at all times and well maintained
- Work as a team builder and assist senior management to recruit and train staff
- Establish and customize service level standards
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships
- Assist with enhancing and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures that will positively impact the P&L and improve the overall bar operation

Previous knowledge on beverage costings and menu creations would be advantageous in the succession of this role. You will already have a working knowledge in P.O.S (Micros) systems or similar. You will come with a passion and willingness to learn, as well as a positive all-round attitude that will surely brighten up anyone's day. You will also have strong leadership and organizational qualities with the ability to work in a dynamic team.
