**Job Description**:
The School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Lecturer (Level B) in Pharmacy. As a Lecturer you will have a developing research or scholarship profile, will be highly committed to undertaking innovative and efficient teaching, and will actively and effectively supervise honours and postgraduate research student projects.

The position will commence with a predominantly **Teaching **profile of which the appointee will be required to undertake teaching** **in Pharmacy Practice and Therapeutics at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and contribute to the School’s teaching and scholarship outcomes including teaching excellence and engagement activities.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Pharmacy Practice and Therapeutics which may include conducting tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, clinical or studio sessions, and student consultation, marking and assessment activities
- Foster an outstanding student experience, encourage active participation and engagement in learning and teaching across the spectrum of the University’s undergraduate, and postgraduate programs.
- Continuously improve teaching practice through professional development, research and critical reflection.
- Inform the quality, innovation, currency and evidence-base of teaching and learning through scholarly activities, commitments and outputs.
- Undertake research that has the potential to achieve impact on policy and practice in the wider community.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the School standing and reputation by promoting educational and research activities with external communities.
- Promote and enhance student learning experiences through engagement with industry and broader community to develop work integrated learning opportunities and support employability initiatives.
- Be a leading example of the principles and values embodied in the University’s Code of Conduct, and behave, act and communicate at all times to reflect fairness, ethics and professionalism.

**What we can offer**
This is a continuing, full time position and is primarily based at the Griffith University Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

The full-time base salary for a Lecturer level B (BLT) will range $105,144 - $124,862 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $123,018 - $146,088 per annum.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated commitment to Pharmacy and Medical Sciences.

In addition to the above, you will hold or be able to demonstrate:

- Completion of a PhD qualification in Pharmacy.
- Current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
- Facilitating high quality, student-centred learning activities.
- Relevant knowledge, skills and leadership in teaching and curriculum development, and a proven ability in the administration of university courses and program.
- Track-record in promoting and supporting a student-centred service culture.
- Excellent communicator, with effective communication and interpersonal skills across students, internal staff and external stakeholders.
