**About the role**

A dedicated male disability support worker with experience in forensic disability and AOD required for an immediate start. Support requirements may include transportation, community access, activities of daily living and support with building independent living skills.

**About you**
- A strong understanding of the NDIS and participant support requirements
- **Experience supporting NDIS participants with forensic disability, AOD, Behavior of Concern and psychosocial disabilities**:

- The ability to communicate and appropriately respond to the needs of people with disability
- Passion for building strong relationships and rapport with participants
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to complete detailed and accurate documentation
- First Aid Certificate
- Drivers License
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
- Legal working rights in Australia

**What you need to do now**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 12 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- forensic disability and AOD: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
