**ABOUT US**:
Cronos Steel Processing is a steel processing company with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency. We are seeking a dedicated person to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of steel processing operations.

**MAIN DUTIES /RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To support the machine operator to enable the machine to keep operating at a high standard. This includes loading and unloading plates on the machines, checking, cleaning, marking, and packaging of processed material.
- To maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation of the working area and to provide support to the operator as and when required (which includes ensuring all scrap metal is an appropriate size for the bins).
- To demonstrate a strong commitment to organization and adherence to all site safety protocols and procedures.
- To embrace the opportunity to learn quickly and effectively.
- Participate in potential advancement opportunities, with the potential to progress into the role of a profile operator.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**

**Qualifications**:

- Equivalent work experience in a related field such as warehouse or sheet metal workshop is highly regarded.

**Experience**:

- Prior experience in a similar role is not mandatory but can initially be useful in understanding site protocols.
- Experience with overhead crane operation is desirable, but not essential.
- Possessing relevant skills though, can be an advantage. Skills such as physical fitness, technical aptitude, attention to detail, an efficient and effective mindset, and teamwork are important at Cronos Steel Processing.

- To demonstrate reliability and self-motivation in daily tasks, showcasing a strong work ethic both independently and as an integral part of the team. To demonstrate dedication to supporting machine operations and maintaining high standards of performance.
- To be able to effectively participate and work within a team environment.

- To understand and comply to all site and regulatory safety rules including timely completion of required government or site documentation.
- Possession of a forklift ticket is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance
