**This opportunity**:
An **Extrusion Blow Moulding Technician** will efficiently and safely operates blow moulders, machinery and monitors the process of manufacturing bottles for use in the Dairy and Beverage industry in accordance with approved procedures, quality standards, and customer specifications

Your key responsibilities will be to:

- Work safely, looking after yourself and your teammates.
- Setting up moulding machines and other equipment such as baggers, inspection systems and conveyors.
- Monitor and ensure all Production and Quality records are completed as required.
- Ensure daily production targets are achieved.
- Initiate changes of moulds and materials.
- Troubleshoot issues with the blow moulding machines, trimmers, baggers and inspection equipment.
- Escalate breakdowns to the maintenance team and assist as needed.

**About your skills and experience**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A mechanical aptitude coupled with a relevant education and/or practical experience in the plastics manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and resolving issues at the root cause.
- Teamwork focus.
- A trade background in areas such as mechanical or toolmaking is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Eagerness to learn.
- Can do attitude.
- Reliable, punctual and available to work weekends.
