Landscaper - Qualified

**ROLE SUMMARY**

Responsible for the daily execution of landscape construction activities completed on various Fleming’s Landscapes’ Projects. Ensuring projects are completed in an efficient and timely manner, promoting job worksite safety, and demonstrating quality workmanship and pride.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES**
- Work closely and assist the Crew Leader and team with daily activities for delivery of landscape projects
- Inspect and report work performed on landscape work sites to Crew Leader
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Ensure the maintenance and safe use of all vehicles, machinery & equipment used on sites, in line with Fleming’s OH & S and Policy and Procedure guidelines
- Care for company equipment, tools and vehicles
- Work as part of a team and take direction
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned / instructed by Crew Leader / Management

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Previous experience in landscape construction and maintenance
- Understanding of tree knowledge including plant identification and growth requirements
- Skilled in landscape construction techniques
- Knowledge and skill in using standard materials, tools and equipment required in landscape trade
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Physically fit and ability to conduct all manual labour tasks
- Proactive in showing initiative for innovative results - problem solving and improving operations in the maintenance of projects.
- Highly motivated and self driven
- Take pride in your work
- Ability to work efficiently within a team
- Must have valid driver’s licence
- Relevant qualifications in Horticulture/Landscaping/Construction

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

- Landscape technician: 2 years (preferred)
