**About Us**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Instruct swimming lessons for various age groups and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Develop engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of each student while promoting water safety and skill progression.
- Accurately assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Create personalized comments for student certificates to acknowledge their achievements and milestones.
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to build confidence and enjoy swimming.
- Monitor and record student progress, sharing updates with parents and guardians as needed.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching methods and stay current with best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification (essential).
- Experience teaching swimming to children of different ages and abilities.
- Current CPR certification.
- Working with children card.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.

- **Flexible Shifts**:Select from a variety of shifts available weekdays from 8:30 AM to 6:15 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. While we prioritize flexibility, please be aware that shifts are fixed for the term to provide our students with consistency by having the same teacher each week. A minimum commitment of 12 hours per week is required.

**Probationary Period**:
All new hires will undergo a probationary period of ten weeks (one term) to ensure a smooth transition and alignment with our teaching standards and organizational culture. This period allows us to assess your fit within our team and provide support as you settle into your role.
