**About Us**:
We are a soon-to-be opened, community-focused café aiming to create an inviting space where quality coffee and exceptional service come together. We’re looking for a skilled and personable barista who is passionate about their craft and eager to contribute to a vibrant café culture.

**Role Summary**:
As an Experienced Barista, you’ll be central to the café’s daily operations and play a key role in consistent crafting drinks to an exceptional standard.

This role includes both opening and closing of the cafe, ensuring you’ll have full responsibility over your workspace and standards. You will work with our suppliers' coffee professionals on a regular basis to ensure the very high standard of our coffee. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you’re fully confident with our blend and offerings.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve espresso-based and specialty drinks to very high standards
- Carry out opening and closing duties, ensuring the café is set up and packed down properly
- Deliver friendly and efficient service, creating a positive atmosphere
- Keep an eye on inventory and manage supplies throughout shifts
- Provide guidance to other café staff as needed

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of barista experience in a busy café environment, comfortable handling over 10kg coffee per week
- Strong interest in coffee, with solid knowledge of brewing techniques
- Friendly and positive approach with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work well under pressure, especially during busy times
- Willingness to work collaboratively and support the team wherever needed

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
