**About the role**:
We are currently recruiting experienced **FEMALE**Personal Care Assistants to join one of our NDIS programs based in Mornington. This role involves supporting individuals with high and complex care needs, with a particular focus on clients living with multiple sclerosis. It presents a highly rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those requiring specialised care and support.

**Shift**:
Every Wednesday from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, with flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Travel to clients' homes to provide comprehensive personal care, ensuring their daily needs are met with dignity and respect.
- Deliver specialised care, including catheter management and medication assistance.
- Provide person-centred care that prioritises the safety, well-being, and individual preferences of each client.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, families, and the care team, and promptly report any changes in a client's health or condition.
- Adapting care plans to address the unique requirements of each client.
- Perform domestic assistance tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and mopping to help maintain a clean and safe home environment.

**Relevant Experience**:

- Experience (professional or personal) supporting individuals with multiple sclerosis, diabetes, and/or complex care needs.
- Experience caring for clients with limited mobility.
- Familiarity with mobility and support equipment such as adjustable beds, hoists, commodes, and wheelchairs.

**Required Qualifications and Licences**:

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or an equivalent qualification.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance, or a willingness to obtain one.
- A valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

- Weekend availability
