Events Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to join our passionate team.
Reporting to the Events Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the end-to-end preparation and execution of various events held at the Club, whilst guiding team members in operational requirements to ensure our customers receive superior service.
This position is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your knowledge of the Events operation.
**About the role**
Key responsibilities include:
- Actively leading and coordinating various events including:
- Liaising with customers and suppliers in preparation for events
- Assisting in determining staffing requirements for each occasion
- Overseeing and assisting with the setup and pack down of events
- Managing all aspects of the operation during an event
- Guiding team members in operational requirements and monitoring employee performance
- Ensuring an efficient operation whilst addressing any employee or service-related concerns
- Demonstrating a high standard of customer service at all times
- Completing administrative duties as required
**About you**
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Exceptional customer service and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
- Experience with EventPro (desirable)
- Outstanding communication skills
- RSA and RCG Certificates or willingness to obtain them
- Tertiary Qualifications in the area of Event Management or Hospitality will be advantageous
- Flexibility to work across a rotating 7-day per-week roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
