**An amazing opportunity for a Social Work Clinical Educator to join Monash Health**

**About our Allied Health Mental Health Program at Monash Health**:
We are excited to announce an exciting opportunity for a Social Work Clinical Educator role within our large and dynamic team. In this newly created clinical education position, you will work closely with the Allied Health Mental Health leadership team, the Social Work Discipline Seniors, Allied Health Education Leads, Allied Health Managers and Directors. You will ensure the provision of effective training and development of graduate and early career Social Work clinicians in the Mental Health Allied Health Program.

**What you bring**:
You have been developing your clinical, education, project management and quality improvement skills or you are an accomplished Social Work professional with a drive to teach others in your profession; either way, you are ready to take this next step in your career. You lead by example, thrive working in a dynamic environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence informed care to all patients, families and carers. You are an advocate of Monash Health’s Strategic Guiding Principles.

**You Are Also**:

- Committed to a leadership & mentoring role in Social Work
- Demonstrated extensive specialist skills and knowledge, and experience in using social work theory to practice to support the emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual well-being of consumers and their families.

**What You Need**:

- Bachelor of Social Work or Masters Social Work Qualifying OR Masters of Social Work, OR equivalent as assessed and approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Written evidence of eligibility for AASW membership for overseas qualifications is required.
- Completion of a post graduate qualification in a relevant field
- _Accredited Social Worker and/or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker: As approved by the AASW _
- _Ideally 10 years post qualifying experience as a Social Worker (desirable)_
- _Qualification in education, leadership or project management (desirable)_
