RISING is a surge of art, music and ceremony in the heart of Melbourne. A major cultural event for the Asia Pacific Region, the festival is created by a diverse team of local, national and international artists and curators. RISING’s purpose is to send interlocking circles of experience and connection radiating through the night, re-synchronising the city and re-energising it with public art, performance and music spanning the emerging and iconic, the epic and intimate.

The festival will also be engaged to run additional projects and will provide the required organisational resourcing and support to successfully deliver these projects.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an arts-loving, ambitious and adaptable writer and content creator to help build our festival brand to connect with new audiences. The Copywriter and Content Coordinator will be the voice of our festival brand and deliver bold and engaging content. This is a role suited to creative marketer and culture consumer with a strong interest in brand storytelling, copywriting and content marketing.

Reporting to the Head of Brand and Creative, you’ll join RISING’s in-house creative team responsible for branding, content across owned and paid channels, marketing and communications, signage and merchandise, artist and festival documentation, and other content projects.

TO APPLY

RISING supports flexible working arrangements for staff and a hybrid office/WFH model is currently in place. This role requires some time in Melbourne during peak periods.
