**About the Role**
This is a dual-position role, combining both kitchen and domestic responsibilities. You will play a key part in ensuring high standards of cleanliness and supporting the preparation and delivery of meals to residents, creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming home.
**Key Responsibilities**
**As a Kitchen Hand, you will**:
- Support the preparation and service of nutritious meals that meet individual dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing and surface sanitisation.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver a smooth and efficient service.
**As a Domestic Assistant, you will**:
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
- Comply with infection control and hygiene protocols, as well as WHS standards for chemical handling.
**About You**
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in hospitality, kitchen, or cleaning roles (aged care experience highly regarded).
- A strong understanding of hygiene, food safety, and infection control standards.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Willingness to undergo relevant pre-employment checks, including a National Police Clearance.
