Join the team at Brisbane Powerhouse - a vibrant arts centre reborn from a 1920s power station on the Brisbane River (Maiwar). Offering over 1,750 performances and events annually, Brisbane Powerhouse is a premier destination for contemporary culture and art, featuring music, theatre, comedy, dance, film, visual arts, and more.

We are currently seeking two Part-Time Floor Managers to support our iconic venue's smooth and efficient operations. These roles report directly to the Precinct Operations Manager and oversee the Brisbane Powerhouse's daily functions, ensuring that all events and activities run seamlessly.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee security operations, including opening and closing the facility, and monitor CCTV for any issues.
- Conduct routine patrols, inspections, and emergency management as Chief Warden and First Aid Officer.
- Champion exceptional customer service, acting as visitors' first point of contact.
- Ensure compliance with WH&S policies to provide a safe environment for all visitors.
- Manage on-site security and cleaning personnel to maintain the venue's high standards.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down event and performance spaces, collaborating with resident restaurants and bars to ensure compliance with RSA and WHS policies.

To succeed in this role, you will bring experience in managing customer services within large venues or festival environments and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Your ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage competing priorities is essential. A flexible approach to working hours, including regular evenings and weekends, is required. First Aid, CPR and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certifications will be highly regarded.
