Underground Drill Fitter

Join the Lonsdale Workshop team as an underground Drill Fitter and be responsible for daily service and repairs to the underground drill rigs in order to maintain the safety and reliability standards according to the manufacturer’s specifications and requirements.

About you
- Proven experience in the repairs and maintenance of Sandvik Drill rigs.
- Dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance
- Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting / interpretive skills
- Previous experience in the mining industry preferred but not essential.
- Physically fit for the demands of the role.
- Minimum of a manual class driver’s license
- Site support equipment - IT’s, Genset, Telehandlers etc.
- Complete & understand all relevant work instruction.
- Must have Australian recognised Trade Certificate or Cert III in Mobile Plant
