**Description**:
An exciting career opportunity exists for an experienced, self-motivated and dedicated Procurement Coordinator to join our Corporate Services Stream, located in our head office in Scarborough.
Due to business growth, this newly created full-time position, reporting to the Corporate Services Director, is an opportunity to join an outstanding organisation that truly cares about its staff.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
Have a visible presence in the business and act as a Procurement Business Partner.
Develop a supplier selection process.
Create preferred supplier arrangements.
Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts ensuring optimum price, quality, service, and delivery.
Review opportunities to consolidate supplier base, renegotiate terms, and other quality or commercial benefits.
Develop a supplier selection process.
Assist with strategic sourcing activities, negotiations, tender evaluations, and key initiatives through to contracting and implementation.
Develop and implement effective procurement policies, procedures, and processes.
Measure, track, analyse and report benefits delivered by procurement activities.
Support budget and forecasting processes with appropriate spend analysis.
Effectively partner with internal customers to fully understand their short-term and long-term business objectives and procurement needs.
Provide customer focused, quality service best practice procurement advice.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**To be successful you will have**:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement operations in a medium sized, complex environment (large number of vendors).
Demonstrated negotiation skills.
Proven experience in providing actionable insights through research and analysis.
Extensive knowledge of procurement best practises, relevant legislation, contracts, tender processes and supplier contractual requirements.
A good understanding of internal control concepts & functions within procurement.
Experience in the Aged Care, Health industry or Not-For-Profit sector would be an advantage.
