About the role
We are seeking an
Electrical Maintenance Tradesperson
to join our team based at Hazelmere and Perth Airport.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the full maintenance of our Sortation Systems and related depot equipment. This includes performing preventative and predictive maintenance, as well as swiftly addressing any unforeseen breakdowns or damages. The position requires your expertise as an Electrical tradesperson, as well as your mechanical background to ensure the operation runs smoothly on shift.

Monday to Friday - 11h25am to 7h30pm
Overtime if required

**Some Key Responsibilities**:
Carry out planned maintenance for automated sortation systems and related freight handling equipment, ensuring maximum throughput.
Assist in designing innovative solutions for evolving operational and business needs.
Respond quickly to both mechanical and electrical faults on shift.
Undertake planned and unplanned mechanical tasks on plant equipment.
Maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (MEX).
Act and adherence to maintenance schedules.
Support operational teams to ensure system is functioning efficiently during shift.
Stock control of electrical parts inventory
**About you**:
Skills & Experience
Experience in maintaining complex industrial facilities.
Familiarity with PLC, VSD, and SCADA installations - Preference
Knowledge of carton and package handling conveyor systems.
Proficiency in reading technical diagrams.
Experience with conveying equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to use MEX software effectively - Preference
Participation in continuous improvement initiatives and project experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude
Fundamental computer skills
Knowledge of the WH&S and Environmental Policies
**Desired Qualifications**:
Freight/Transport experience.
Understanding of operational KPIs and task planning.
Focus on continuous improvement.
Certificate III in Electrical Fitting.
A Grade Electrical Licence.
Valid C Class Driver’s Licence.
LF Forklift License
