**Key Responsibilities**:

- Personal Care: Support with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Medication Assistance: Administer or supervise medications in line with care plans and relevant regulations
- Community Access and Social Participation: Assist participants in engaging with recreational, employment, and community activities
- Meal Preparation: Help plan, shop for, and prepare meals according to individual dietary requirements
- Domestic Assistance: Support with household duties including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe living environment
- Transport Assistance: Drive or accompany participants to appointments, events, and outings
- Mental Health Support: Assist participants with psychosocial disabilities by promoting emotional wellbeing and following recovery-oriented support plans
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of participant progress, daily activities, and incidents, in line with NDIS and Linkcare Solution policies
- Communication: Collaborate with participants, families, and care teams to deliver person-centred support
- Incident Reporting: Promptly report incidents or concerns to the Care Coordinator and assist in follow-up as needed**.**

**Qualifications and Requirements**:
To succeed in this role, you will be required to hold the following Credentials, Trainings & Certificates:

- Certification in Disability, mental health or similar fields.
- QLD Drivers Licence with reliable car & comprehensive
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- On-line NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety & You’
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check
- The right to work in Australia
- Current First Aid Practical Training Certificate & CPR
- Previous experience in disability support, mental health, or a related field
- Understanding of NDIS guidelines and quality standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
- High attention to detail and professional record keeping
- Compassionate and empathetic approach
- Experience supporting individuals with psychosocial disabilities (highly desirable)

**How to Apply**:
**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
