**Materials Support Officer**:

This opportunity sits in our Signals Asset Renewals team based at our Qantas Drive depot.

**About the role**
As a Materials Support Officer in the Signals Renewal team, you will be responsible for the procurement of materials and services to enable the team to complete work activities. This includes assisting in the ordering, storage and issuing process and ensuring safe, cost effective, timely and high-quality service is met.

- Annual base salary of $82,857
- 12.75% superannuation
- Flexible working arrangements, with the option to work a 9-day fortnight or a 4-day week
- If you don’t hold a Forklift licence, we will put you through the training

**Role overview**:

- Work within the depot and ensure all inventory and consumable materials are stored safely, neatly and securely. This includes forklift operations.
- Accountability for items entering and leaving the store by following goods receipt and issuing procedures
- Monitoring Bill Of Materials and ordering of consumables as required.
- Liaise with the Team Leaders to provide continual improvements for materials and services support.

**We are looking for**:

- Strong knowledge of warehousing, goods receipt/issue and stores practices.
- Proven background in working in a stores or warehousing environment.
- Experience with SAP would be considered favourable but not essential.
- Passion for ensuring a safe work environment.
- Proactive approach and initiative to solve problems.
