**SSD Technician**

**The Opportunity**

Hollywood Private Hospital, with its recent expansion to 20 state of art theatres, in on the lookout for experienced and driven **Sterile Supply Department (SSD) Technicians** to join our rapidly growing team and to develop new skills with a leading Healthcare provider.
- Our theatres boast cutting edge technologies, including **robotic surgery** capabilities.
- Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness, sorting, assembling, packaging and sterilising the equipment used in the Operating Theatres and ward areas.
- **You will assist with the validation and routine of decontamination and sterilisation processes** and also the maintenance of these records, as well as actively participate in quality and infection control audits, relevant to the department.

**Furthermore, you will be in charge of preserving the cleanliness of all work surfaces and equipment, promptly reporting any damage, and handling equipment transportation before and after sterilisation.**

- **Proven experience as an SSD Technician and with **competent in sterilisation

**Remuneration**: On offer is an hourly rate ranging from **$29.91 + superannuation** based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances

**Requirements**:
