**About the client**:
Our client is an international building products and construction materials group with three strong divisions: the high-performing, well-positioned materials business.

**As part of your new role, you will be**:
We are looking for a responsible and experienced individual to join the team as a Laboratory Technician working mainly in their construction products. Duties involves undertaking sampling of construction materials, preparation of test samples, testing and physical analysis of these samples, reporting of test results and maintenance of records.
- Conduct testing on product and recycled material accordance with laboratory work instructions, AS and RMS test methods, preparation instructions and manuals.
- Prescribed calibrations and checks of laboratory test equipment.
- Maintain, observe, and participate in the statutory Safety requirements of the Laboratory.
- Maintenance of the Laboratory NATA accreditation requirements.
- Other duties as directed by the Section Head and Laboratory Manager

**We would love to talk to you if you have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or Science degree Bachelor of Science in medicine or forensics
- Good communication skills
