**Your future team**

Linking Platform is the primary way that users collaborate across their Atlassian toolset. It enables Creators and Consumers to seamlessly Connect, Display and Act on their work across various tools** **to get their work done.

We have a brand-new Design Lead role within the Linking Platform team to lead the design discipline towards this goal. This includes driving the discovery, prioritization, delivery and quality of the work that gets shipped to our multi-product customers. You'll be the craft lead for a team which designs for scale, collaboration, and global experiences across our platform. Additionally, this role would help grow and mature the design capability within Linking Platform and across Atlassian as a whole.

**Responsibilities**:

- Define and deliver large scale, high impact pieces of work across the Linking Platform experience.
- Work alongside Product Managers, Engineering, and other key partners who lead the delivery strategy and execution of what we ship to empower Linking Platform customers to move work forward.
- Mentor the designers within Linking Platform and beyond.
- Work across the entire suite of Atlassian products.
- Inform the culture, ways of working, and improvements to our processes.
- Contribute to improving design at Atlassian at a team and organization level. Work closely with Experience Platform Design Management to ensure we are strategically aligned.

Qualifications:

- Extensive experience in the UX / design craft
- Significant experience with designing & building large scale web software
- A track record of execution and delivering results
- Familiarity with agile software design methodologies & tooling
- Ability to drive design excellence, pushing innovation and quality
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Experience with distributed teams
