**Are you a detailed oriented individual with a passion for communications, technology and innovation?** Due to continuing growth in the Company, RCT is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Design Technician to join our dynamic Special Projects team - RCT Custom. Based at our head office, currently located in Kewdale, Western Australia, you will be responsible for, but not limited to: - Design and develop new products - Resolve engineering problems at component through system level - Conduct testing utilising existing test protocols - Create written technical reference information and reports on products/systems developed - Develop customer solutions utilising existing products - Conduct technical market research and evaluation of technology, processes, hardware and software - Installation and commissioning of products nationally and internationally as required - Maintain quality systems To be considered for this role you will need the following: - An Auto Electrician Trade qualification - Experience in mobile mining equipment - An ability to read and create electrical schematics - A "can-do" attitude - The ability to work individually and within a team environment - Be self-motivated - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Great time management skills - Good computer skills Consideration will be given to applicants who do not have the skills but are interested in pursuing a career in this industry.
