During the Upholstery Apprenticeship, you will be working **full time 38 hours per week**while studying a Certificate III in Upholstery.
**Apprentices will primarily be engaged in production work, duties include (but not limited to)**:
- Dismantling and reassembling furniture
- Selecting, cutting, sewing and fitting fabric and leather upholstery material
- Specialise in areas of marine or automotive upholstery as well as furniture
- Use computer-aided drawing programs
- Measuring and using tools and machinery
**Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria**:
- Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual
- Be motivated with a positive attitude
- Physically fit, self-disciplined, and have high attention to detail
- Reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to take direction and take the safety of yourself and your team members seriously
- Eagerness to learn
