They are looking to invest in a recent graduate from outside the industry to become their next Graduate Technician.

**About You**
- While you might have studied units that involved CAD/CAM design, you've found yourself enjoying being in the workshop, working with mechanical or electrical components. What you're looking for is a practical role that allows you to develop your skills in installing and servicing waterjet cutting machinery.
- Whether it is the car in the garage or the computer in the office, you have always enjoyed situations that allow you to solve problems and work with your hands. That’s why you chose engineering in the first place: to pull things apart, understand how they work, and put them back together again.
- While you might not know much about waterjet machinery, you're someone who is eager to learn and wants to become a true expert in the technical field.
**About the Role**
Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll add crucial support to the field service team through:
- Attending maintenance, servicing and breakdowns (across all states) and once up to speed, moving up to installations too.
- Investigating and understanding the root cause of issues with the machines to accurately fault find.
- Building strong relationships with customers by displaying empathy and responding quickly to questions or issues.
- Conducting training for customers on the machinery and software on how to best maintain, upkeep and fix regular issues.
- Contributing to the research and development of new machinery in the workshop.
- Completing weekly timesheet reporting and providing regular insights/updates to the Service Manager on customers.
**Selection Criteria**
To be successful in this exciting opportunity you must have the following:
- Have an Engineering degree or trade qualification (or are about to complete one)
- Current and unrestricted driver’s licence
