What your day will look like....
In this role, you'll move fluidly between providing hands-on patient care and leading your team with purpose. You might start by reviewing a patient in the emergency department, then collaborate with nursing staff and allied health professionals to coordinate care plans. You'll participate in clinical governance activities, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and ensure your team is supported and thriving. Whether you're mentoring junior doctors, liaising with external specialists, or refining medical rosters, your leadership will be felt across the service. Every task you take on contributes to a culture of safety, excellence, and community-focused care.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $412,287 (L27) comprising salary rates between $312,165 (L13) and $412,287 p.a. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
