Metallurgy Technicians required to assist with sample preparing and processing mineral samples for analysis located in Canning Vale.

**General Tasks of the role**:

- Both wet / dry sizing of samples
- Crushing/ pulverising and milling
- Chemical / Acid Digestion
- Fire Assaying
- Sorting, weighing samples
- Operating mills, splitters & crushers
- Core cutting using core saws

**Samples of test work**:

- Cyanide and acid leaching
- Flotation test work
- Gravity and Magnetic separation
- Comminution test work

**Essential requirements**:

- Male applicants to be clean shaven - due to safety masks requirements onsite
- Able to perform hard physical labour and no concern with a dusty, wet or hot environment
- Able to manually lift 25kgs
- Good attention to details and able to follow procedures
- No laboratory experience required. Training provided
- Forklift licence (desirable)
- Good in a team environment
- The ability to perform manual handling tasks

- Immediate starts
- Day Shift - 6:00am start ( afternoon shifts maybe offered through peak periods)
- Casual pay rate of $28.46ph per hour (plus shift loading & penalties)
- Weekly pay on Thursdays
