Location: Richmond, Victoria

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, engaging with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas.
- Train and mentor new baristas, ensuring they understand coffee preparation techniques, customer service standards, and our business values.
- Assist in managing inventory, including placing orders for coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies as needed.
- Contribute to menu development and collaborate with the team to create innovative and seasonal offerings.
- Work closely with the management team to develop and implement operational procedures and policies.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and ensure proper cash register operations.
- Support the Manager in staff scheduling, coordinating shifts, and addressing any employee-related issues.
- Monitor and maintain quality control, ensuring all products meet our high standards.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a barista in a fast-paced cafe or similar environment.
- Solid knowledge of coffee brewing methods, latte art, and espresso-based beverages.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and work efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and cash handling procedures.
- Position is for a minimum of 3 days/week, preference is for 4 days/week.
