Accounts Assistant required for a temporary to permanent opportunity working for a leading business based in Fremantle.

I am working with a well established service industry client to appoint an Accounts Assistant for a temporary to permanent opportunity. Working as part of a small team of Administrators, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the AP function whilst supporting payroll on a fortnightly basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing and inputting supplier invoices (approx. 150 weekly)
- Setting up new suppliers
- Managing weekly supplier payments
- Statement reconciliations
- Maintaining the accuracy of vendor details
- Processing personal and company expenses
- Assisting with queries and reporting
- Processing bi-weekly payroll for up to 100 employees
- Managing timekeeping systems and manually reviewing timesheets for casual workers when required
- Providing information and answering employee questions about payroll-related matters
- Onboarding new starters, inputting personal information in to databases accurately
- General office administration
- Ad hoc duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in end to end accounts payable is essential
- Knowledge of payroll processes is advantageous
- Experience with computerised accountancy packages such as Quickbooks, XERO or SAGE
- Can do and positive attitude
- Excellent attention to details
- Strong analytical skills
- Able to multitask whilst adhering to tight deadlines
