Pharmacy Technician

Kingsway Compounding has an opportunity for a passionate and experienced Pharmacy Technician for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week for a dynamic and busy team environment in the Northern Beaches.
- Making capsules, creams, powders etc.
- Liaising with pharmacists
- Ordering stock and monitoring stock levels
- Reporting to the lab manager
- Providing excellent customer service
- Online inventory management and system integration
- Assist the pharmacist in the dispensary
- Patient medication profile management
- Follow Standard operating procedures as per our ISO 9000 quality Management System

For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience and skills:

- Relevant Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma OR at least three years of relevant experience in lieu of qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills & proficient in English
- Ability to work unassisted and in a team
- Thorough knowledge of compounded prescription medications
- Knowledge in Pk software
- Comprehensive knowledge of PBS
- Fill and label patients’ prescriptions under the supervision of a Pharmacist
- Record details of, instructions, and storage conditions of medications

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
