Our Rouse Hill centre is a 154 place, purpose built service consisting of 6 rooms. With an amazing state of the art building set in a beautiful, natural environment, we care for children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years old. This role will assist the Chef in all aspects of running a kitchen and will have access to an industrial, fully equipped kitchen.

Your role will include:

- The preparation and service of meals to children including breakfast, morning tea, lunch with dessert and late snack.
- Preparing meals to meet the needs of children with special dietary requirements and allergies.
- Assist the Chef in menu planning based on the National Food Standards and centre guidelines including catering to our children with special dietary needs.
- Ensuring the safe and hygienic storage, handling and preparation of food and drink.
- Maintaining required kitchen records.
- Receiving and storing food and supplies.
- Catering for events such as management meetings plus centre based family events.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Ability to work Monday and Tuesday (8:30-3:30)
- Safe Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Multi-tasking abilities and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and time skills.

Fit Kidz is a child safe organisation and follows the National Principles.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Permanent
Part-time hours: 14 per week

**Salary**: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
